Wow, it's April. I skipped a whole month. I'm sure there must be something I could say about March.

The boys had Spring Break. Ryan took a few days off and we did some local things. Went to Tokyo Tower which is actually taller than the Eiffel. I'm pretty sure I won't make my record of 11 visits though. The boys wanted to go to the batting cages so we did that two days in a row. Each night a different person got to pick where we went for dinner. That was fun! I got a break from cooking. Always nice.

The cherry blossoms were just starting to bloom while the boys were out of school. Ryan took the Monday they went back off so he and I took a fun boat ride (row boat) around one side of the Imperial Palace. There were some beautiful blossoms hanging down near the water.

These are some of the blossoms that we see on our way home from church. We just took the pictures out the window of the van. We drive through a cemetery to get home and the street is just lined with trees. It is soo gorgeous. The Japanese people have Hanami parties under the blossoms. They bring a blanket and lunch and enjoy the beauty. It was so funny to see people sitting all throughout the cemetery eating their lunches!

That is truly beautiful and I'll bet even more so in real life. The flower blossoms seem to follow you (or you follow them) in every place you've lived. Very fun!!! Where are the photos of you and Ryan rowing? lol
